Katherine Price (b. 1992, Indiana) is an American composer of choral music, orchestral music, and chamber music. Drawing influences from the Anglican choral tradition, European early music, and Holy Minimalism, her compositions reflect the styles of such composers as Arvo Pärt, John Tavener, and Henryk Górecki.
 Price is a 2014 graduate of Indiana University South Bend with a Bachelor of Music in Composition. She has studied with Jorge Muñiz, John Mayrose, and Thom Limbert.
 Price won several composition competitions during her college years and had many of her compositions performed throughout the Midwest. In addition to the concert stage, Price’s compositions have been performed in solo and ensemble competitions and in high school concerts. Price is an active performer as a soprano, premiering new works as well as more traditional performances.
 Price now lives in Chicago. She works full time at a credit union and is a soprano in the Chicago Chorale. Ms. Price can be contacted at kpricecomposer (at) gmail.com
